WATCC-2011 Prelims - Aerial Rescue
One of the preliminary rounds of the WA Tree Climbing Championships 2011, Aerial Rescue is an event which tests the pure knowledge of a tree climbers technical skills. The Event is a combination of the skills required to carry out the previous 4 tasks of the Preliminary Events. The Aerial Rescue is also the forefront of the intention behind the International Tree Climbing Competitions; and this is the promotion of safety within the tree climbing scene. In this event your objective is to rescue an injured climber from the tree. The climber has five minutes to access the tree, manoeuvre to the injured climber, setup the required rigging system and bring the injured climber down to the ground where Ambulance Crews can attend to the injured climber.
